I’ve become a big fan of countdowns. I used to think that they were just for youth and college groups that needed them for crowd control, but I’ve realized that the countdown can be really helpful information for any church. Now I use one every week! Countdowns are great visual tools that communicate that the service is about to begin and it’s time to finish that conversation (or at least press pause for an hour and fifteen minutes).
If you use countdowns, or are still on the fence, why not try one of these great Christmas countdowns to start your service or cantata or pageant this year? These are some of our (and your) favorites:
Christmas Vintage Countdown by Centerline New Media
A great vintage look that’s both eye-catching and graphically impressive.
Christmas Movie Trivia by 4ThoughtMedia
This countdown gives the less-talkative folks among us something to engage with just before the service starts… and may make them much smarter!
Snow Scene Countdown by Graceway Media
Graceway has mastered the simple countdown. Large, bold numbers are easy to read and the imagery is basic yet visually appealing.
